One of the most important varieties in Italy, 'Coratina' is a world-class oil variety used in the production of extra virgin olive oil, high in bioactive phenolic compounds, it is the oil for dieters and also a great table olive, 'Coratina' will thrive in a wide range of Australian conditions. Medium fruit (2-3.5g) with a rich and intense flavour profile. Bears young. High oil content. Ripens late season. Origin: Apulia, Italy. Considered dual purpose. Very cold resistant. Usually pickled green.
