Shipping and delivery times
Shipping methods available to be selected are regular post, registered post, delivery into western suburbs of Brisbane or pick up at nursery. If posted, all our plants are carefully packed in new post boxes and dispatched by Australia Post bare root (no soil) every Monday so that they are usually received in the same week of dispatch. Every order received is dispatched with full consignment tracking by Australia Post so you can track the delivery of your plants.
Orders received and paid for by a Sunday evening are dispatched the next day. On dispatch an email is sent advising of the dispatch and the consignment number or numbers applying to your purchase. Expected delivery times from a Monday dispatch:
- Within two days - South east Queensland and Northern NSW;
- Within three days - Central Queensland, Sydney and Central Coast of NSW;
- Within four days - North Queensland; Within five to seven days - ACT, Melbourne and country Victoria; Adelaide and country South Australia.
If no one is available to meet Australia Post's contractor, the contractor will leave a card with the address of the Post Office designated for collection. When collecting, please bring with you some form of identification that corresponds with the name of the consignee.
Postage, handling and packing charges are a flat rate of $14.95 per parcel for bulk packs or for a selection of plants/packs up to Australia Post's 5kg weight per packing box. For larger orders please contact us before placing the order to ensure plant and shipping availability. If more than one packing box is needed, we will advise the additional postage cost before dispatching so you can decide whether to proceed with a larger order, reduce or cancel it. We pack up to 20kg boxes.
For orders over $200.00 we provide a free upgrade to registered post. Please select regular post at checkout and we will upgrade it at our end to registered when dispatched. For orders less than $200.00 we recommend that you consider registered post.
Once the plants have been dispatched by post we will not take responsibility for plants misplaced or damaged by improper transit handling by postal couriers. Postal insurance is available upon request.
