Michelia Figo is also known as the Port Wine Magnolia.  A dense foliage shrub 2 to 3m with glossy green foliage and fragrant small creamy-white flowers in spring and summer with a smell of port. Ideal for screening, a fragrant hedge or as feature plant in a tub. If can be topiarized. Plant is full sun or semi shade.  Prefers well drained loamy or sandy soil.
