Hymenocallis littoralis

Hymenocallis littoralis is commonly known as the beach spider lily. It is a species of plant in the amaryllis family Amaryllidaceae.

Flowering: The flowers are large, white and vanilla scented.  Flowers from mid-summer to late autumn

Height & width: foliage 60 – 70 cm and width up to 1m when established.

Care: Grows best in sunlight to partial shade.  Prefers humid conditions and can tolerate light frosts. It is native to the warmer coastal areas of Latin America.

Uses: Suitable in low lying areas as a ground cover, coastal areas and around water features. Mass plant for impact along borders and pathways

Plants available:  The plants offered are small offsets from flowering size plants.  They will establish quickly.
