The massive genetic pool is built from superior imported seeds from breeders in China, Europe, Japan, South Africa and the US. The nursery does not sell seed because like children they can all end up different and this is particularly so in the breeding of new cultivars. The focus is on multi-generational line breeding to create new traits utilising diploid, triploid and tetraploid cultivars. Many of these elite clivia are grown up to flowering size and sold on \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.bestclivias.com.au\/\"\u003ewww.bestclivias.com.au\u003c\/a\u003e from mid-August through to mid-October.
